Sheep Husbandry; with an Account of the Different Breeds

The story
Henry S. Randall's nineteenth-century manual explains sheep breeds, flock management, breeding, and diseases, with additional discussions of sheep raising in Texas.
Published in New York by the Orange Judd Company in 1880, the work covers practical sheep husbandry for American farmers. The title page advertises portraits and other engravings and includes a letter by Randall to the Texas Almanac and remarks by George W. Kendall on sheep raising in Texas. The work is of interest to agricultural-history and livestock collectors, though this later nineteenth-century issue is not the early 1850s first edition.
